2015 Dodge Charger

2015 Dodge Charger

Dodge revealed it new skin for the 2015 Charger at the New York Auto Show. The fresh new look, looks to be largely inspired by the Dodge Dart, which isn’t a bad thing at all. With every refresh of the Charger, Dodge seems to be stepping away from its reintroduction design that reenergized the automaker and introduced the world back to the Charger in 2006. The new designs most noticeable exterior feature is the blacked out front grille, updated headlamps and rounded off tail lamps with trunk lid spoiler where the Dart’s inspiration can be seen the most.

The interior get a few new bits in the way of a new gauge cluster with seven inch display, a new steering wheel (pulled from the Jeep Grand Cherokee) and now standard 8.4 inch touchscreen in the center console. Unfortunately there are no new engines slated for the new 2015 Charger. You will still have the same power plant choices as the outgoing model with either the 3.6 liter V6 producing 292HP  and 290lb-ft of torque (optional all wheel drive or rear wheel drive for the V6 only) or the 5.7 liter V8 at 370HP and 395lb-ft of torque (rear wheel drive only in the V8). Which either model range you choose the new eight speed automatic is standard equipment in the 2015 Charger. The SRT variant hasn’t been released yet but we are sure it will also carry over the same power plant as well, with a few minor tweaks in the power and performance aspect.
